When you open an account entity, you have all kinds of subgrids: contacts, recent opportunities, recent cases etc.
For each subgrid, you have a + icon, and next to it you have a "grid" icon, to see e.g. all opportunities related to this account.
Now, for some reason, I no longer see the option to see all associated records for the OPPTYs. it still works for the other subgrids though.
Any thoughts on why this is?
This is because the opportunity entity is not in the form navigation of the account form.
1. Go to Settings > Customizations > Customize the System, enter Entity > Account > Form, double-click the Account main form.
2. Click the Navigation button on the command bar, then find the Opportunity in the Relationship Explorer list on the right, double-click it, it will be added to the Common tab on the left. Save and publish.
Please refer to the following articles about form navigation:
Hi Lu Hao,
The subgrid is visible under the account entity, that's not the issue.
The issue is that I can no longer drill into it, to see all associated OPPTYs.
My last answer was not to add a sub-grid, but to add the associated OPPTYs view icon.
The reason why you don't have this icon to the right of the + sign is that there is no opportunity entity relationship in the account form navigation, so you have to add it.
Please try my solution first.
Hi Lu hao
My apologies, I misread your answer.
It worked like a charm. Thank you very much!
