Has anyone run into this issue before?
Entity: AppointmentsArea: Charts and Dashboards
Issue: I created a doughnut chart for sum of duration by week and when I went to add that chart to the dashboard it was not available. I have other dashboards with doughnut charts on them so I ruled that out. What about the appointments entity isn't allowing me to select my doughnut chart?
My workaround/fix: I modified the chart to a column chart and suddenly I was able to add it to my dashboard. I saved the dashboard with the chart in place, went and updated the chart back to doughnut and voila!
My question: Does anyone have any insights on the cause or a proper solution?
I noticed that even Tag charts are not available for Dashboards. These are however available with Interactive Dashboards. Looks like these types of charts are supported for Interactive Dashboards only. An example of Interactive Dashboard could be viewed by selecting Open Dashboards option from the Accounts home page ribbon options.
Hope this helps!
Hmm, I knew these chart types were UCI only but I had not considered dashboard type. I'll do a bit more research and get back to you. Thanks for the lead.
