Good afternoon everyone,
I really need your help about account properties and relationship with others entity as Opportunity, Activities, Tickets and everything in relation with account entity.
Here is an exemple :
A account is affected to a sales person (A), i switch to an other sales person (B), and then, every activities, opportunites, tickets are automaticly affected to the new sales person B. The problem is that all the history of past /won opportunities, activities and tickets disapear because of this automatic switch...
There is no plugin running behind when i update the account, i think it's the desire of MS but it really impact our business and the sales management..
Actually it's really hard to manage the business, i really need your help.
'i switch to an other sales person (B)' - Do you mean to assign this account to salesperson B?
If so, it is. When you assign this account to another salesperson, the owner of the opportunity, activity, case associated with that account becomes another salesperson.
If you would prevent automatic redistribution of related records, then you need to change the Relationship Behaviour of the account and related entities.
1) Go to Settings > Customizations > Customize the System, switch to classic, open Entities > Account > 1:N Relationships, double click to open the relationship of the opportunity.
2) Change Type of Behaviour to Configurable Cascading and change Assign to Cascade None. You can also change other behaviors to suit your business needs. Save.
Then follow the same steps to modify the relationship between the account and other entities, such as various activities and cases.
