We are having a problem when we add a Task to a Lead Record in Dynamics, as that Task is translated when looking at the same Task in the desktop Outlook application.
In Dynamics, we might set a Task Due date to 11/21/2019 5pm, but when we look at that same task in Outlook we note that the Due Date is 24-hours later 11/22/2019 5pm, with a reminder for the actual Due Date set in Dynamics.
Any ideas why the Tasks details are not translating properly?
If you are using a CRM outlook client, then the CRM picks up the time zone setting for the user’s windows machine. Make sure in CRM user preference and the windows machine where outlook has accessed are having same time zone.
Outlook app for D365 and Outlook will pick-up time from users time zone.
