From the screenshot shown below, when I click on Dynamics 365 down arrow, the following shows up. It lists the different Apps, I have last visited. My guess.I want to remove the last visited apps except for "Sales - Hub". So when any user logs into Dynamics "Sales - Hub" is the only link is shown. Also when the user clicks on "Home", I want the user to be taken to "Sales - Hub", which is the Sales Dashboard. The other links you see are other Apps or Sales Hub on Sandbox, etc which I do not want to show up there.
So is it possible to retain only Sales - Hub, which is our Production Sales Hub. How can I customize it? Thanks for your help in advance.
This list is actually the apps in this environment that you can access.
If you want to keep this list only for Sales Hub, then you need to remove user access for other apps.
Also, "Home" is a link to https://home.dynamics.com/, and it is not possible to modify it.
If you want to remove user access for other apps, go to Settings > My Apps and click on MANAGE ROLES of the app to remove all security roles except the system administrator.
The list in your screenshot shows "My apps" that you can check from Dynamics 365 Home.
My suggestion is the same as Lu Hao's, you can just go to Settings > find My Apps under Application (the right end) > and click on MANAGE ROLES of the app to remove all security roles.
Hope this solves your problem as mine went well by this step.
Hello Lu Hao,
I tried the steps you mentioned and did not work for me. Anything else I need to be looking into and setup?
1. For Dynamics 365 — custom, we need to turn off "Show legacy app to everyone, not just admins" in the system settings or Power Platform admin center.
Once turned off, users who are not system administrator will not be able to access Dynamics 365 — custom app.
2. For other apps, removing access security roles for the app should work.
If users still have access to these apps, please have them clear the browser caches and try again.
Hi Dear,Greetings of the day!In regards to your concern, The listed Apps are not resent apps, this all apps are Microsoft Dynamics 365 system apps.If you want display your apps for some users then you could create different security roles for different apps(mentioned departments) and give access to these roles & assign roles to users for which you wont to access App. Refer this link for app role assignment: https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/dynamics365/customerengagement/on-premises/customize/manage-access-apps-security-roles You can also hide the apps for all users. For that follow this steps: Step 1: In Dynamics 365 Settings -> My Apps Step 2: All Apps are listed, click on more (...) option of app which you want to hide. - SS Link :https://drive.google.com/file/d/1pc3r_Ht_cbnXFV0-OubMNZP55XsAtStX/view?usp=sharing Step 3: Click on Hide For All Roles.
Kindly try the above things on your end and let us know in case of any other concerns, I would be happy to assist you further for the same
