Im sure this can be done as referenced here https://kaskelasolutions.com/how-to-send-an-itemized-receipt-2/ , my use case is that i want to itemize a list of Order product lines and then email to a customer. I have tested lots of different saved views to achieve my requirement but i get no results or all of the order lines in the system, I cant seem to create an advanced find in the way the invoice lines are only displayed in Aidens example by using the Invoice ID,
Has anyone done this using the above tool? Or using other mechanisms outside of plugin writing etc
Thanks in advance
You can use Flow for this use case.
any examples out there? i did look at flow briefly but couldn't see how i would achieve this
Yes sur, Please check my reponse on this thread:
Hi i like the idea and its a good one but its a bit messy adding the product lines to the order again as their already on the subgrid, also the solution still calls for a standard workflow to fire the email. appreciate the response however
Yeah, you don"t need to create a new field and store the data...It was only for illustration. You can use the same concept and add the lines to your email. And sure, you will send the email using flow not classic workflow.
do i need to complete all of the steps referenced in the link? im having some trouble creating the flow. Thanks
You need to change the trigger and replace the last step by send email action.
Good luck !
Figured this out, it finally dawned on me the issue, was all down to the advanced find.
for anyone else that needs to use this functionality on order the find is simple and as below
