Does anyone know whether a default filter can be applied to the social pane so for example when a user views a contact record the Activities section shows appointments and phone calls only?
Users are still required to record emails against contacts, but just don’t want the emails to be visible within the record. Is this possible at all?
If you enable filter inside the form customizations, user will be able to choose:
Thanks for your response, when I go to the contact form and open the social pane the only headings tabs I see are Display, Formatting and Activity Wall, can you tell me how or where you see the Timeline as your screenshot above shows? Please also note I am using the original Dynamics 365 on premise version and not the unified interface version.
I don't know if it is the same but can you try to open the properties of the timeline and check the filter:
after that you can filter:
Can you try and let me know the result?
Unfortunately I do not see what you see I only have the options I outlined above on the Activities Tab Properties screen.
