I have a custom entity called 'License' that is mapped to the Opportunities entity.
Users can create a new 'License' record from the Opportunity entity and it will auto populate the Opportunity on the License form.
How can I auto populate the 'Account' field on this 'License Form' based on the Account of the Opportunity that is autopopulated or selected?
1. You mean, when you create a License from the sub-grid of the Opportunity form, you want to map Account of both side, right?
If so, we just need to add a mapping in the relationship.
Find the N:1 relationship between License and Opportunity, then new a mapping of Account lookup field.
Here I share the creation of the workflow. It is triggered only when License is saved. (So before saving the record, it will not work.)
Thanks Hao! This works. Much appreciated.
