Hello. I am wanting to create an Opportunity system view that includes the owner of the Opportunity as well as any Opportunities where the same user has been added on through Connections. This would seem to be a pretty common business need yet I cannot find any information on how to do this. Any ideas?
You can’t pull in records of a table that are on the ‘many’ side of the relationship into a view, which is the case here. You can have multiple connections for an opportunity and you cannot pull those into a view.
There is no way to combine owner and connection user. Because connection users are in connection entity. The filters in different entity can only do Group And, Group Or isn’t supported. You can see the following screenshot:
