You cannot directly call a plugin using the ribbon button. The correct approach is to create an action and call it using the JS function (bound) to a button.
Anyhow, there are indirect ways to call a plugin from a ribbon button:
Basically, plugins are bound to an event, you need to perform that event from your JS function, it could be create of a record, update of record, etc.

So it is very easy let me divide this into smaller parts.
1. Create a button on the ribbon.

3. Create plugin code and use with the Action which you have created.
