when i open an invoice and click on the Look Up Address button in the command bar, i get a popup.
the first field allows me to search for an address , but whatever i type, no address is found.
if i search with an empty field / no criteria, i do get all the addresses as search results.
how can you search for a specific address in the Look Up Address popup?
This lookup field searches based on the address name by default. So you need to type the address name in it.
This is the result when I search with an empty field:
Below screenshot is the result when I search with "my" content:
If you want to add other fields in the Address entity to search, you need to navigate to Settings->Customizations->Customize the System->expand Entities->Address->Views and double click Quick Find Customer Addresses.
Then click Add Find Columns button to add fields you need, and save it.(As the screenshot shows, I add Street1 field)
Finally, publish it and now I can search addresses filtered by Street1.
thanks, Steve, for this informative and helpful answer!
