Please provide any more details that will help me understand what is next and what we should start learning that would help in future ?
Have you checked out the roadmap site here already?
Ludwig provided a link to the release notes for the coming 6 months. The split into Finance and SCM is just related to pricing (licensing). It will still be one technical application.
If you follow trend watchers, you might predict what would be useful for ERP applications or not. I do think there will be some more focus on artificial intelligence/machine learning to help customers in various processes.
I already checked it. But it doesn't provide enough info about what i am looking for.
If you see my post, i am looking for more specific information.
Is there any link that you can provide me about trend watchers that you mentioned? i googled and not sure what to check.
Also when you are mentioning Artificial intelligence and machine learning, do you mean that D365 developers should learn the coding/languages related to those two along with x++ in future?
Like i asked in my post, what difference would it make for Functional/Developers/Admins ?
I wish, I was clearsigted.... I'm not able to predict what would be coming. There are companies specialized in watching trends, doing market analysis and more. Google, and you will find e.g. www.itproportal.com/.../.
What comes after the current release notes having a scope of 6 months, is not made public and possibly not fixed at all.
