Is it possible, do disable the automatic restart feature of Ax32.Exe client (2012R2) if it has crashed using a registry entry or a command line switch ?

Hello,

Have you found any option or command line to disable this automatic restart ?

Hi,

I can't remember exactly, but I think I didn't find a way beside the following. (With standard Windows Settings)

I believe it has had something to do with the settings of WER (WindowsErrorReporting)

ControlPanel\ActionCenter\ChangeActionCenterSettings\ProblemReportingsSettings

Disable it here

or

Select programs to exclude from reporting

Add Ax32.Exe

Excluded Applications are store

in registry hive

HKCU\Software\Microsoft\Windows\Windows Error Reporting\ExcludedApplication

HKLM\Software\Microsoft\Windows\Windows Error Reporting\ExcludedApplication

I think this was the trick. With that setting the restart vanished.???

Can you please check this (I'm really not sure, but something in 'that way")

regards

Douglas
