In Ax2009 we have set Deny Blank Dimensions Marked.
When making a general journal (input from a bank statement) the lines (ledger and customer) are filled with standard dimensions.
After making sure that all lines have dimensions filled we post the journal.
AX2009 replies with an errormessage that a dimension is missing.
What transactions should be considered during posting in relation to mandatory filled dimensions?
Does the error message say which financial dimension is missing (cost center, ...)?
In addition, you mentioned that there is an input from a bank statement. Does this mean that you import the journal lines from a file?
The financial dimension Doel (Target) is mentioned in the error message.
And indeed the journal lines are imported and afterwards the dimensions are filled by a job.
I believe that you job inserts a dimension value that is not setup in GL.
Can you check in GL/CommonForms/Dimensions whether all financial dimension values that have been entered through the job exist in this form?
