During the Auditfile-run in AX2012 i received a errormessage:
Mandatory field must be filled in: Vendors taxRegistrationCountry
Can anyone tell me which field is meant.
In the Tax Exempt Numbers table all numbers are linked to a countrycode (AX: 3 digits)
All vendors have a tax Exempt Number existing in the Tax Exempt Number Table.
Maybe it is another field i did not know about.
Where and how have you created the audit file?
For which country is your system and your sales tax setup?
I have tried to create it in Ax2012 through general ledger.
It is the Dutch Audit File....
Is the exact wording of the error you get the one stated above?
(Mandatory field must be filled in: Vendors taxRegistrationCountry)
Apart from this, what system version are you on AX2012 R2/R3 CU7/8...?
I had a look at LCS and found a number of hotfixes even for R3 systems. Maybe your error message is related to them.
Do you have the chance to access LCS and check those hotfixes if they apply?
I am in LCS but i am wondering which phrase you used to find the applicable hotfixes?
As Ludwig Reinhard mentioned, it would be great if you can provide us the exact error message or the screenshot.
Do you get the error message just with a specific vendor or specific vendor group?
I just used "dutch audit file" that brought up a number of hotfixes, yet not the one that fits exactly the message you get. Yet, they might be useful nevertheless.
Regarding the tax registration country message, have you checked that all your vendors do have such a number specivied? I am not very much familiar with dutch tax Settings and the dutch audit file but each vendor has a tax registration form attached where you can enter some tax related Information.
Hope this helps,
I recently encountered the same error message. I managed to find the reason (at least for my customer). All vendor records were missing the address records. Vendors have been created in AX using an interface which did not createaddress records. No address => no country info within the record => no taxRegistrationCountry info for the Audit file.Maybe some of your vendor records are missing the address info?
