I am trying to locate in D365 the equivalent of Absence request ( which is under employee self service in AX2012).
If you are looking for below functionality then check below description posted as a part of
Dynamics AX 2012 features that were postponed
Absence management in Human resources:
Functionality for entering absence transactions isn't included in Microsoft Dynamics 365 for Finance and Operations, Enterprise edition. Additionally, functionality for approving those absence transactions as a manager isn't included. Setup capabilities that are required for integration with other modules are available through the Human Resources 2 configuration key.
Implemented in Microsoft Dynamics 365 for Talent
Hi Sam ,
Most of the Related feature to Absence are Deprecated in D365 and moved to talent. I posted Deprecated feature link on your another Post. If you are really looking for most of the HR functions , you should look at Talent.
I still need 3 more information:
1- How to get access to Talent ? is it only through attract.talent.dynamics.com?
2- I have downloaded the latest Dynamics 365 virtual machine - update12, is there a way to see the integration of Talent to D365 for operations through that machine?
3 - is there any documentation that shows the functions that are moved to Talent from HR and how the full process would work?
Please refer below links:
(Provision Microsoft Dynamics 365 for Talent)
(Welcome to Microsoft Dynamics 365 for Talent)
Procedure for getting talent is Similar to D365 through LCS.
You can not see integration in PU 12 machine. That is something which you will have to do once you have talent and D365 , I am not sure if there is any connector available.
Don't have Any specific Documentation but you check Docs site.
Can you please share your experience or any document you have which shows the differences between D365 HR module and D365 talent including payroll.
Your experience mean a lot to me. Many thanks in advance!!
