[New Feature] Ability to edit the fiscal year name in MSd365 Finance and Operations

Dear Microsoft BizApps Community,

Welcome to my next blog on unboxing new feature in 10.0.29 version on General Ledger Segment.

This feature is about “Ability to edit the fiscal year name”

Current design

The below screen shot is from 10.0.28 and below version.

Currently once the Fiscal years are created, we can not change or amend the name of the years.

General Ledger->> Ledger Setup->> Fiscal Calendars

Enhanced design and solution in 10.0.29

After this feature released, we have a dialogue box from where we can change the Fiscal year names.

See below- Rename year option has been added

See below, I have changed the name of the already created Fiscal year, that’s a great enhancement.

Keynote- This is enabled by default from 10.0.29 version; no separate Feature needs to be enabled from feature management.
