For Hammed, community has never been about recognition. It's about giving back. Like many community leaders, his journey began as a learner. Early in his career, he benefited from the collective knowledge shared through forums, events, and community discussions. That experience left a lasting impression and sparked a desire to contribute in return.
"I benefited from shared knowledge, forums, events, and naturally I felt giving back to the community would be something I could do as well."

Since becoming a User Group leader in 2018, Hammed has transformed a small gathering of just four members into a thriving community of more than 300 professionals. What makes his approach unique is his commitment to mentorship and structured growth. Rather than focusing solely on events or presentations, Hammed has built a culture that helps people develop confidence and capabilities over time.
"It's about mentorship, bringing people, uplifting them up to become somebody they want to become. From level one to level two, beginner, intermediate and advanced. So that they learn through those phases throughout the year."
His focus on progression has helped countless community members advance their skills, expand their networks, and take the next step in their professional journeys.

While Hammed has spent six years as a Microsoft MVP, what excites him most isn't the title—it's the opportunity to connect with others who share a passion for learning and helping. Outside of his community leadership, Hammed serves as a Senior Consultant, leveraging more than 13 years of experience delivering Dynamics 365 and Power Platform solutions across a wide range of industries. He has led projects involving customizations, configurations, data migrations, and integrations, helping organizations achieve meaningful business outcomes through technology.
His passion for education and empowerment also extends beyond the Microsoft ecosystem. As an SDGs Ambassador with TeachSDGs, Hammed supports initiatives that promote the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals through education and technology, continuing his mission of creating opportunities for learning and growth.
