Associated Views – Adding Related Entity Columns supported in Microsoft Dynamics CRM 2011

One subtle but very nice new enhancement in Microsoft Dynamics CRM 2011 is that Associated Views allow displaying of related entities’ fields.  For example: I can display the Contact Parent Customer (Account) – Account Number within the Contact Associated View:

This was a very popular request in Microsoft CRM v4.0 but unsupported.  Now with Microsoft CRM 2011, it only takes a few button clicks to configure.  I love it!
