Microsoft Dynamics AX provides a first-class programming model for integration. You can use Microsoft Dynamics AX services to expose its functionality by means of the Windows Communication Foundation (WCF)- based services. AIF supports the processing of inbound and outbound messages such as message transforms and value lookups. Together, services and AIF
provide the programming model, tools and infrastructure support for XML-based integration of application functionality and data with Microsoft Dynamics AX.
