Microsoft Dynamics GP January 2022 Hotfix Now Available

As we sail into 2022, we have a lot going on for Dynamics GP that you need to be aware of.  This January Hotfix is important for you to install based on the changes that are made in the below areas.

I know many of you have other things on your mind this last week in January, such as getting your 1099's or W2's out the door, so why not just pile on more, I'm confident you can all handle it.

There are NO table changes in this update, just fixes for the product.

There are also fixes around Web Client, Web Services and eConnect where we dropped a patch (msp) for these installs.

Web Client - 6.0.213 (Web Components)
When you install the 18.4 release or upgrade to year end Web Client users were missing area pages / menus.
This patch also includes security fixes related to Web Client.

With the 18.4.1434 January Hotfix release the following items are resolved.

Updated 1096 SRS report to show new NEC box amounts

Changes were made to the following SRS Historical Inventory Trial Balance reports (HITB)

1. Historical Inventory Trial Balance Detail
2. Historical Inventory Trial Balance Summary by Account
3. Historical Inventory Trial Balance Summary by Item

With all the SRS fixes you will need to redeploy your SRS reports to see the changes.

If you do Payroll taxes and pay employees in the state of Wisconsin, you will need the Round 2 Tax Tables and also the January Hotfix installed.

When you install the 2021 US year end update the Purchase Order Entry window for Project line headers display incorrectly.

When you install the 2021 US year end update the Payroll transaction entry window is missing the "In Addition to Salary" checkbox.

ACA 1095-C form, instruction changes and added codes 1T and 1U.

VAT Daybook: Voids and Multiple tax codes (SEQNUMBR>1) skipped on Summary and Detailed report calculations in Boxes 6-9.

Approving a workflow task may hang and does not send email due to document attachment and MFA enabled, Error message Save Operation on table MSGraphEmailTemp failed converting the retrieved data.

Workflow: Assignment e-mail not sent when approving from Web Services link with MFA enabled.

Use latest version of SQL Server Native Client 11.0 on distribution CD, see workaround in this blog post.
