Don’t see App Settings within the New D365 UI?

If you’re having a hard time turning on the new features available in the Spring 2020 release because you are not able to find the App Settings section in any of your model-driven apps, we have a quick solution.

Follow these simple steps to enable the default Sales Hub app, which has the App Settings section.

If you install the Dynamics 365 Sales Application solution through the “old school” admin console into your environment, this will do one of two things:

  1. Add the default Sales Hub, which will include the App Settings area
  2. If you already have the Sales Hub app, but no App Settings area, it will add the App Settings into the existing Sales Hub

No matter where you access the App Settings, these settings will be turned on for the whole organization, not just the default Sales Hub app.

Microsoft has added more and more Advanced Settings into the App Settings Area within the Sales Hub App.

All of the Microsoft Dynamics 365 2020 Release Wave 1 features need to be turned on through this App Settings area.
