Dynamics 365 v9.x- How to add Lookup and Option Set in Alternate Key

Introduction:

In this blog, we will see few enhancements in alternate key and how to add/set using code.

Prerequisites

1. System Administrator/Customizer of Dynamics 365
2. Knowledge of Alternate Key

What’s New

Prior to v9.x, Only three(Decimal Number / Whole Number/Single Line of Text) data types were supported and it has a limited scope.

With a new Enhancement in 9.x , new data types added to the list(
Date Time/Lookup/Picklist).
