Hidden Gem: Upload/Import the fetchxml into Advanced Find view designer
Views (3499)
Most of the time, we will design an Advanced find view & Download the fetchxml for further development and/or save it as Personal view.
Sometimes we are feeling good at writing SQL queries, then we can use the SQL2fetchxml free online converter by Kingswaysoft. This will give the needed fetchxml.
Also XrmToolBox fetchxml Builder gives powerful options like UI designer, SQL equivalent, QueryExpression equivalent, code formatted for C# & JavaScript, etc
You can refer these free online tools as well for formatting: FetchXML online formatter
But I came across this very interesting reverse engineering link by Sathis Kumar: Generate Advanced find filters from fetchxml
This comes handy when we are lazy, want to avoid too many trial & errors. You already have a fetchxml query, simply you want to inject into Advanced find designer & see it in action. Then follow the instructions in IE developer toolbar to see the magic. :)
You can use the view designer too in XrmToolBox to import the fetchxml & create the savedquery or userquery.
