DFK Project - The easy Project Management Extension

DFK Project is a Project Management Add-on for Business Central, a replacement for the Jobs Module. Its small, simple to use and has everything you need for managing your projects, teams, tasks, personnel time recordings, costs management and the project’s progress stuff. It has many nice features. More features are upcoming.

In the header area you can edit the main project data, start/end date, customer and contact data, project progress.

The task lines can be grouped in packages where you see the progress. The task types can be managed, the line description can be overwritten. The duration shows the difference in days between planned start date and end date. The estimated effort shows the planned effort in hours. The consumed hours for the task target to the time tracking. The Responsible field contains team member, who is assigned to the task or package. In the lines you can also edit the costs for budget planning.

The project team members are internal employees or external supporters like freelancers. So its possible to include holiday and absence planning. That would not be possible when working with resources or users.

With the time tracking tool its easy to track the consumed project times. You can also track internal times or service times. Consumed times can be added to sales invoices.
