Keep Your Dynamics 365 Contacts Updated with Change of Address Workflow
The Change of Address Workflow for Microsoft Dynamics 365 allows users to send an email or create a task for users who need to be made aware of an address change.
There are many reasons you may need to update a contact’s address in your Microsoft Dynamics 365 environment, whether the contact switched companies and you need their individual information to be updated, or the business itself moved. Perhaps business growth spurred multiple locations to be built.
Whatever the reason may be, setting up the Change of Address Workflow in Microsoft Dynamics 365 will help to make things more efficient for your team.
Sometimes, addresses need to be updated in external programs that do not integrate with CRM. This is an easy way to make sure address changes are captured and addresses are updated wherever necessary.
All departments and users benefit from this workflow, whether we’re talking about sales, customer service, management, marketing, or another department within your organization.
This workflow requires user-level knowledge to setup.
Follow these steps to set up the Change of Address workflow trigger:
1. Record Field Change: Address 1 Street 1, Street 2, City, State or ZIP can be selected

2. Click “Select this row and click Add Step” and click Add Step > Send Email

3. Set Properties as desired, and then Save and Close

4. Activate your workflow
That’s it – you’re done!
