On the Document Associated Grid on record of any entity, you get the error “No Active Sites found. Please ask your system administrator to add a new site or activate the existing site.”

Also, when you try to upload or create a new document, following error occurs:

The reason is you have not yet configured Document Management Settings.

Navigate to Document Management and you can select ‘Based on entity’ and enter the default sharepoint site url, the same that you entered while enabling sharepoint. Hint: copy the CRM URL and instead of dynamics.com it would be https://xxx.sharepoint.com. also note that if there is any region specific ‘crm3/crm4’ in the url you don’t need to enter that.

Once the configuration is done, you will be able to create/add sharepoint documents in the records.
