Not much of an information, ain't it? I mean, what is this? Are we supposed to belive that Copilot can't even answer such an easy question?
Select the Agents from the side panel:
Reach out for the Copilot D365F&O App, as highlighted:
This is the plugin page. This is where you dictate how your Chat engine should behave. It would show a lot of Knowledge bases, Topics, Actions, available PlugIns for your Copilot App. Some of these are preinstalled, others are created by you:
Select Topics >> Add a new Topic >> Select From Blank:
From the canvas that comes, select the Edit button from the Phase Trigger:
Here you define the phrase which you want your Copilot to answer:
It understands that whenever there is a question like this or a similar phrase, how should it respond. You can keep adding phrases:
Click on Add Node:
Select 'Send a message':
And here comes the magic. Select the Fx button to continue:
Give the following formula:
Which returns the day of weekday, when asked. Yeah, that's it -- this can give you an immediate response of the day of the week. Alternatively you can spice up answer like this:
Click on Publish. Wait for few moments for the Copilot to register your request, and publish the topic. The topic appears in the list as shown:
Likewisely, you can also define for every small topic of what you want in the Copilot Studio and record answer for each of them and make yout application look more vibrant and human-like.
Here is a very interesting tip using Power Fx, to infuse in your Copilot responses, for D365F&O, to make it more intuitive and sensitive. Here is a small tip for the same:
When you launch Copilot Sidecar and ask a question like this:

And the answer, yes -- unless you enable the answer for this question, explicitly -- Copilot won't be able to answer even an easy question like this.
