Add Multiple Layouts to Reports

Hello all, until 2022 RW2, we were only able to create a single layout for each type of report, but here in the new release, we will be able to add multiple layouts, isn’t it really cool? 

So the way that works is they have introduced a new root section in reports and also report extensions called Rendering.

We can have multiple layers now !!!

Below is an example how we can add multiple layouts for Standard Sales – Invoice Report via report extension.

After publishing the same , we check the report layouts on client –

Viola, you can use them further now!

*We make sure we only use one at a time , either the property ‘RDLCLayout’ and ‘WordLayout’ or the rendering section.
