Common Data Service – API calls Statistics

After Plug-ins, let us see what is in store for API calls statistics. You could see more deep-dive technical details here which will eventually help you with how APIs are being called & for which Operation. You can for sure use this to have performance improvement in your organization.

You can browse the URL for checking the insights – https://admin.powerplatform.microsoft.com/

The stats will give you API Pass Rate & number of API calls done over the selected time filter.

If there is any API that is failing, you can see that under the section of Top API By Failures. As you can see on the screenshot, it will tell you that it was retrieve call that failed for 6 times. If you further drill down, you will see the actual issue.

If I hover over, I could see exact API calls that were made for operation as shown in the screenshot below

It will then also give you a graph for the number of API calls over date frame & what was the number of calls

We can hover over to see exact details as shown below
