You can use an inbound or outbound integration port to associate Microsoft
Dynamics AX services with an address. An address consists of a Uniform
Resource Identifier (URI) that is associated with a particular adapter. A URI
provides the location of the source or destination that the adapter can use, such as
a file folder or an HTTP URL.
NOTE: Some features require you the use of a specific adapter with a specific
type of URI.
The following table provides information about adapters and the associated URI
types that are available by default. You can add custom adapters, if required. The
creation of custom adapters is beyond the scope of this course.
