Integrating Dynamics 365 with Azure

About this Course:
Microsoft Dynamics 365 is already integrated Microsoft Azure natively to help power many of its built-in capabilities such as search and intelligence. In this course, we focus on custom cloud integrations that you can build that are unique to your own project integration needs. These integrations can help solve challenges such as offload processing from Dynamics 365, orchestrating business processes with Logic Apps, adding custom intelligence using Azure Machine Learning, and data integration with the Common Data Service. Students will also learn how to export data to Azure SQL to solve extended data reporting and data warehousing requirements.

After completing this training, the participants will be able to:

• Understand Microsoft Dynamics 365 and Microsoft Azure integration scenarios
• Use Logic Apps to orchestrate processes across Dynamics 365 and other systems
• Connect to Machine Learning to add custom intelligence capabilities to your solution
• Understand how to use the Data Integrator to integrate data within Dynamics 365
• Publish events from Dynamics 365 to Azure Service Bus
• Offload processing to Azure Functions
• Understand how to register and configure custom applications in Azure AD
• Understand how to configure an ongoing export of data to Azure SQL

Audience

This training is intended for architects and developers with some Microsoft Dynamics 365 or Microsoft Dynamics 365 Customer Engagement or Finance and Operations experience. This course assumes working knowledge of how to configure, customize and use Dynamics 365.

Prerequisites

• Functional knowledge of common Dynamics 365 use case scenarios
• Basic C# development
• Recommended prerequisite supplemental learning resources or equivalent experience on Microsoft Dynamics 365 for Sales -OR- Microsoft Dynamics 365 for Service -OR- Dynamics 365 Finance and Operations

Student Requirement for Hosted Lab
You will be provided with lab access information prior to the start of the training.

• A PC/laptop with high speed internet to execute the online labs provided as part of the course.
