- Relationship Roles are designed to enable users to configure relationship types that might exist between records of these entities in the system.
- Relationship Roles can be used for any kind of relationship (such as business, family, and social).
Dynamics 365 v9 Deprecated Features Relationship Roles
- Relationship Roles (Settings > Business Management > Relationship Roles) are deprecated and will be removed in a future major release.
- Relationship roles limit connections between accounts, contacts and opportunities only.
- This feature is replaced by Connection Roles which allows users to connections between most entity types.
