Process Now or Later

When you are finished with printing checks in payables, you are prompted either to Process (to Post) or Process Later.
I suggest to clients never to Process (Post) until all checks have been printed. This way if you have a paper jam in your printer, you can easily re-print the items you need to reprint.
One of my clients uses the process later for a different and very effective reason. He waits to post the checks until they are all signed, which she uses as a form of approval. If any checks are returned unsigned, she pulls up the batch, voids those checks and post the remaining checks.
