Updating Full Name Entry Layout in Dynamics CRM

Do you ever run into trouble in Microsoft Dynamics CRM when you want or need to track a middle name as well as a first and last name on the account? The individual fields can be added to the forum, but that takes up valuable real estate on the form.

Under system settings in Dynamics CRM, the full name format can be adjusted for the combined field in order to keep the smaller field and save space on the form.

1. Go to Settings

2. Under the System area, select Administration

3. System Settings

4. On the General tab, change the full name format to fit the business need.

5. The combine field for full name will then be formatted to match your selection.
