D365 Finance – Improve the performance on the All sales orders page

The other day a very large customer was having performance issues when users opened the All sales orders page. After enabling the Sales order details performance enhancement feature, we solved the problem. This feature improves performance when opening sales order details. When this feature is enabled, it allows the sales side to use the one-form pattern used on the purchase side by skipping the SalesTableListPage and opening the SalesTable form in list view mode when a user accesses the menu All sales orders and similar list pages for sales. This improves performance because it's faster to switch between views of the same page compared to switching between pages. When this feature is disabled, the SalesTableListPage is called.

Note: If you have customized the SalesTableListPage form on your system, you might need to reproduce your customizations on the SalesTable form before enabling this feature.
