From Community Volunteer to Microsoft MVP | Community Spotlight | Drizzle Pablo

Bret Fraser Profile Picture Bret Fraser Community Manager

Welcome back to Community Spotlight, the series celebrating the leaders, advocates, and builders who power the Dynamics 365 and Power Platform community. In this episode, Drizzle Pablo shares how supporting community events in the Philippines led her on an unexpected journey to becoming a Microsoft MVP and user group leader.

Some people plan their path to becoming a Microsoft MVP. Drizzle fell into hers — and that's exactly what makes her story so worth telling. A proud Bicolana, Atenean, and Isabelina, Drizzle carries her heritage with her as she helps organizations across the Philippines navigate digital transformation using Microsoft Business Applications, Dynamics 365, and Power Platform.

Her MVP journey began not with a strategy, but with generosity. When Paul — the first Filipino MVP in her space — began organizing community events in the Philippines, Drizzle simply showed up to support. She volunteered, helped out, and kept showing up.

About eight months in, Paul turned to her and said something she didn't expect: "Drizzle, please help me — and I'll nominate you to become a Microsoft MVP." Just like that, a new chapter began.

Today, as both a Microsoft MVP and a user group leader, Drizzle brings that same spirit to her role as advocate and guide. She helps organizations solve real problems — not just technical ones — using the full power of BizApps solutions. But the work she's most proud of may be the human kind: nurturing the next generation of community leaders.

"I always shared with them — I hope someday you will step up and say: I'm ready to become a leader. I'm ready to become a speaker." Watching that happen, she says, is what fulfills the vision. It's what makes the work matter beyond the technology itself.

Drizzle's journey is a reminder that community isn't a side effect of great tech careers — it's often the engine behind them. People come to her with their problems, and she meets them with solutions, mentorship, and an open door. That's not a job description. That's a calling.
"I am a solution builder — for my community and for our customers."
