Welcome to my next blog on unboxing new feature in 10.0.29 version on Fixed Asset Segment.
This feature is about “Increase the length of fixed asset name”
Current design
The below screen shot is from 10.0.28 and below, Fixed Asset->> Fixed Asset->> Fixed assets- create new
Current design has limitation of 30 characters for the name, it is painful for the organizations those who wants to maintain the bigger name of the fixed assets.
Enhanced design and solution in 10.0.29
After this feature released, the Fixed Asset Name filed will increase to 150 characters, it will help organizations to add fixed assets which are lengthier in name.
Keynote- This is enabled by default; no separate Feature needs to be enabled from feature management.

Fixed asset name cannot be greater than 60 charactersWhat should we do ?Thanks
