✅ Participation Guidelines
Participants must:
- Have an active community profile in either the Power Platform or Dynamics 365 communities
- Be in good standing
- Follow the Community Code of Conduct
(Microsoft employees and Community Management team members are not eligible to compete.)
💬 Forum Challenges
🥇 Challenge #1: Most verified answers – Super Users
- Open to current Super Users (2026 Season 1) only. Earn credit when your answer is marked as a verified answer.
- Super Users must submit responses within the discussion forums during the challenge time frame. Those responses can then be marked as verified answers (i.e., an answer you provided was marked as verified) by the author of the original thread.
- Answers posted by the author of the original thread will not be counted.
- The top 5 super users in each community with the most verified answers will each be awarded 50 prize points.
🥈 Challenge #2: Most verified answers – non-Super Users
- Open to all non-Super Users. Earn credit when your answer is marked as a verified answer.
- Members must submit responses within the discussion forums during the challenge time frame. Those responses can then be marked as verified answers (i.e., an answer you provided was marked as verified) by the author of the original thread.
- Answers posted by the author of the original thread will not be counted.
- The top 5 members in each community with the most verified answers will each be awarded 50 prize points.
🥉 Challenge #3: Likes received for suggested or verified answers
- Members must receive Likes on comments marked as Suggested or Verified Answers.
- Both the comment and the Like received must occur during the festival.
- Likes given by the author of the comment will not be counted.
- The top 5 members in each community with the most likes on suggested or verified answers will each be awarded 50 prize points.
🏅 Challenge #4: Helpful suggested or verified Answers
- Members must receive 'Yes' responses to the question 'Was this helpful' on comments marked as Suggested or Verified Answers.
- Both the comment and the 'Yes' response must occur during the festival.
- Only 'Was this helpful' responses by authenticated users will be counted.
- 'Was this helpful' responses given by the author of the comment will not be counted.
- The top 5 members in each community with the most 'Was this helpful' responses on suggested or verified answers will each be awarded 50 prize points.
🎗️ Community Festival Awards
- For the Community Season of Sharing event, the top 5 winners in each event will each receive a prize of 50 points to spend on exclusive items in our Business Applications Community Swag Store.
- The Approximate Retail Value (ARV) of a point for the Swag Store is $1 USD. Note that the prize is for points to spend in the Swag Store only. Not all items are available in every region and point costs for items may vary by region. Point costs in the Swag Store include shipping and tax for your designated region. All other costs are the sole responsibility of the recipient.
- In addition, the top five participants in each event will receive digital assets awards and recognition.
- The winners of the Season of Sharing event will be announced within 15 days after the completion of all events.
- The winners of the points for the Swag Store will be notified within 15 days after the completion of all events via the email address associated with their community profile.
- The winners of the points for the Swag Store must redeem their points within 45 days of the completion of the Season of Sharing event, or the points will be voided. Points cannot be transferred to another individual, group, or organization.
- In the event of a tie for first place in any event, the Community Management team will consider the total reputation points earned in the community to determine a winner.
- You can only win once. If you are deemed the winner of multiple events, you will only receive one prize, and a next runner up will be selected as an alternate winner.
- In the event of a tie for any of the top five spots outside of first place, all participants qualifying for these spots will receive the digital assets awards and recognition.
