Can We use Excel Buffer Table in Business Central of Cloud Version(SaaS) .?
I don't see why not. Did you encounter any issue ?
On SaaS you need to use the Excel Buffer functions based on Stream:
Actually I wrote code like below in my Report.
I am getting error "The type or method 'CreateBookAndOpenExcel' cannot be used for 'Extension' development and 'Record "Excel Buffer"' does not contain a definition for 'GiveUserControl'"..
Could you please suggest me the the Solution to this problem , If it's Possible please Write Acceptable code for my code.
Thanks in Advance.
Since we are dealing with cloud, you need to use OpenBookStream, UpdateBookStream, etc.
Can you give me Example for Below code (in SaaS)
ExcelBuf.CreateBookAndOpenExcel('', 'Shipment Statistics', '', COMPANYNAME, USERID);
In This Code I want to create and open Excel Sheet , can you give me example , how to write code for create and open a excel sheet in Cloud version(SaaS).
Hi Stefano Demiliani, Im new on Business Central, do you have an example of how to read an excel file? it would be very helpful
maybe useful.. I've created such example huge (we are running so fast... that time is fast too) time ago.. may be still actual
