I have a requirments where I need to send PO Approvals to various managers depending on the department code.
Is this possible with just Business Central or using Power Automate, they both seem to have limitations where I can't get exactly what I need.
E.g PO 001 -> Request Appoval -> Goes to Manager 1
PO 002 -> Goes to Manager 2 etc all based on what the Department Code is.
Ideally I would like an extra step where after going to Manager 1 if the PO is over a certain amount it will go to Senior Manager 1.
Does anyone know if this is possible?
Thanks for your reply! I have managed to get the Workflow Groups setup for each department and have created a copy of each workflow specific for each department. The issue I am having now is sending it to the senior manager. For instance, I create the record -> send to manager -> they approve works but if it is over say £100 I want it to go to senior manager.
Do you know how I do this? I take it its with some workflow steps but I am not familar with them.
I do believe this is discussed here:
