Appointments are synced in Outlook 2016 but the information related to CRM 2011 at the bottom of the form is missing. At the same time clicking the "View in CRM" works.
On what build is your CRM for Outlook Client? Can you try installing this patch and see if it makes any difference ? www.microsoft.com/.../details.aspx

I have a similar issue, it shows the pane but it is blank. before Interop Assemblies 2007 used to cause something similar and when uninstalled fixed the issue but this seems tied to the new Outlook 365 update where outlook is not labeled as Outlook 2016 anymore. I am also getting the blank screen when trying to access the CRM through Outlook also. Anyone else able to confirm the same.
