I have a requirement to limit the search functionality of Dynamics 365 portals. Specifically, the use case states that the user should be required to enter the exact number for a result to be returned from the search.
I have made modifications to restrict search to just the incident entity, and have modified the Portal Search view to only index the case number.
Is it possible eliminate the use of wildcard or other search filtering?
only possible solution I can think of is to have a custom search... then only you will be able to control it better. OOB its not possible.
