Can anyone tell me if it's possible to automatically email a report, to a given schedule, say weekly from the CRM online?
We are using MS Dynamics 2013.
Thank you :)
There isn't any way to handle this directly using out of the box functionality. On Premise users can access the underlying SSRS features to schedule reports but Online you don't have this option.
You could go down the path of creating some sort of custom workflow activity to generate the report data and then create a workflow which runs recursively to send the data on the scheduled basis.
The only way I have found that works 100% is to export the report for external use to the SSRS report library, subscribe to the report, then set a frequency and audience to email the report.
We ended up using this third party solution.
It works very well.
