I have created a new entity in crm 2013 called "new_job" which has some fields, one of which is a unique Job Number field.
When the user is on any new_job entity, I want them to be able to click the view report menu item, and the job # be passed to my ssrs report.
Am ok with creating the custom ssrs report, however not sure how to dynamically grab the job # and display the report.
There is no need to create custom ssrs report if you are able to build report using Report wizard and it meets your requirement. To make report available to run on current record , edit the report and make sure you have display in with " Forms for related record types" option selected. Once you ave this settings saved user should be able to see the report if they go to Run report menu
