We are using CRM 2015 On Premise on Windows server 2012 R2. This is a new install. When I try to browse to my website I get the following error: "Error retrieving authentication setting XML from database for authentication strategy". I found several documents online that refer to authentication pipeline and the authentication settings tables in MSCRM_CONFIG. When I looked in the table there are no entries. When do these entries get created or where do I go to get them?
For anyone still experiencing this - this still can occur in latest on-premise installations. This is normally created in the database during installation. The only cases where I've run into this so far is when using custom installation scripts to install CRM. I will try and write a blog post on how to correct this.
