Actually I had created new "Invoice Product Record" in Advance Find Option and I added some columns in that New Invoice product Record and Export that record . Then I added some values in that file and again I try to import that File I got this Unmapped Error. I cant find any mapping Filed for that Extended Amount option which is shown in the above Image. Now what shall I do?
The extended amount is not manual input.
It is a calculated one from qty * unit price.
Then you can just manual input the unit price (if you use price overridden, otherwise CRm will calculate it by using the combination of Unit, product, and Price List (or in short word it is Price List Item))
Hope this helps!
Ok I need to import my old invoice file in crm . In my invoice file I have Customer name , Currency , Due date , Date delivered and Total amount. I tried to import my invoice file in crm it always showing error . One crm expert said before you import your invoice file you have to import Invoice product file. Ok may i know the fields which are required in invoice product record ?
You can use metadata browser to check what fields are required in invoice product: msdn.microsoft.com/.../hh547411.aspx
Or you can use XrmToolBox document generator which can export all metadata information for invoice product and you will get requirement details there. Please see documentation how to use this tool.
You need to import the Invoice product.
So you import the Invoice, without amount
Then import the Invoice Product.
I replied before.
The required field, you can get from data template, see my previous answer here:
I have responded to this question on your previous post.
so we can import our invoice without amount. Am i correct. we cannot import our invoice with amount.. Am i right?
But you need to import 'invoice product' and together with the required fields, such as Price list, product name, unit, unit price, qty
can you show me some screen shots of invoice product record..
You did create a custom Total Amount field (on a previous thread). You can import into that field.
You cannot import into the OOTB Total Amount field (or any other calculated field).
once we import the "Invoice Product " and "Invoice" it will automatically calculate the Extended amount . Am I correct or not?
This is my invoice Product File . While I trying to import this file in crm I got error in mapping place. I got error in two fields there is no fields to map Extended amount and and currency because many experts said Extended amount will calculated automatically. so I select Ignore option for Currency and Extended amount and continue to import my file . But I still got error in crm . so what shall I do now. First I have to import Invoice file or Invoice product file?
You import Invoice first
Then you import Invoice Product
You must import Currency (that is not a calculated field).
You cannot import Extended Amount.
ok mscrmba Actually I ignored the Extended amount Field and Currency fileld..
You should not ignore Currency.
It needs you to import Currency.
Ignoring Extended Amount is fine. That is what you must do.
ok mscrmba . First I have to import Invoice record then I have to import invoice Product record . Then Extended amount will calculated by Crm automatically. Ok i have a try still I get error means I will inform you..
