We are in the middle of a project that involves CRM Online , FieldOne and AX. We have just signed up for a CRM Online 2016 trial and will need to get FieldOne + RESCO licenses for the same. We already deployed FieldOne from O365>Admin>CRM>Select CRM Instance>Solutions>FieldOne. Now we need to get the corresponding RESCO licenses. I need to understand what to do here. I have asked a couple of people at FieldOne as well but not had a clear response, hence posting this here. I am hoping FieldOne support can respond to this and hopefully there is a published guide on this. In addition, how can we handle Dev and Test CRM environments for FieldOne as we will be setting up the same for our client.
Thank you for your help!
Have you got access to the FieldOne playbook. It answers a lot of common questions. I'm not sure how you get access to the playbook but reach out to someone at FieldOne to see how to get access
From my understanding I thought FieldOne LIcence included a resco license, which can only be used with FieldOne.
Are you trying to get trial licences or licences for your project?
If you want some trail licences you have to be a partner and request some demo licences by raising a support request (the process is walked through in the playbook)
Thank you Ben. We have now converted to a paid CRM Online 2016 environment and have around 25 Professional licenses. The FieldOne team has been extending our RESCO trial on a monthly basis as they said that this issue with RESCO licensing should be resolved soon. I will review the playbook as well to see if it resolves our issue and will update this thread!
