Filtered views is not working. For example if I queried select * from account is working fine. other wise
select * from Filteredaccount is not returning data.
Please suggest any one.
FilteredAccounts (FilteredViews) gets the data by honoring your security model. Account is a table. FilteredAccount is a view.
If you login with the same user which you have used to connect to SQL, are you able to see any records in CRM App?
Make sure that the user you're running the query as has a system user in CRM and has permissions to that entity. That's going to be the most likely cause for the issue.
Hope this helps! I'd appreciate if you'd mark this as a Verified answer.
You query using sql server and you run under which user?
If you run under SA authentication then you will have result nothing (zero record) because it doesnt recognize the sa as the valid crm user.
You need to use windows authentication with the valid crm AD Usee to access that.
Use the system admin to test.
Hope this helps.
Thanks for all,
now its working fine. but deployed the report in the report server as i received "Login failed for user 'NT AUTHORITY\ANONYMOUS LOGON" error. Please suggest.
any body can suggest above errors..
I am facing the similar issue, where my report cannot work with the filtered views. do you got any solution to this issue ?
@Sabih Filtered views apply Dynamics 365 / CRM security model, as such the most common issue is that the user performing the SQL action on the filtered view does not have the appropriate security privileges assigned to them in CRM.
