My client have a Dynamics CRM trial environment that has expired.
Do you know how we can enter the Product Key now that the Trial version has expired in Dynamics CRM Onpremise, without re-installing de Server?
We have a lot of customization that we will not could lost!
Microsoft sent me a product download with the new key, but i need to resolve without re-installation.
You can log onto the server and open 'Deployment Manager' then select 'Change Product Key' from the right hand panel.
If you back up your MSCRM organization database you can always re-import it (again using Deployment Manager) even if you do re-install the server.
Hope this answers your question.
My doubt is if the environment is expired (if is not during the trial period) this option inside deployment manager still appear. You know?
You can still find the option to change the product key in the right navigation pane of the deployment manager.
Please do inform me about update. Feel free to reply here and I'll be glad to assist you.
Thanks & Regards,
